Design by Patrick Lauke<\/a><\/p>\n I use LLM’s<\/p>\n I use LLM’s to better understand how they work and understand their limitations.<\/p>\n I use LLM’s to create software I cannot<\/p>\n I use LLM’s to create open source software<\/p>\n I use LLM’s to create software that does not rely on or require LLM’s to function.<\/p>\n I don’t use LLM’s to write prose, HTML, simple JavaScript, CSS I can happily fuck all of those up without outside help.<\/p>\n I don’t think LLM’s are a Facist technology<\/p>\n LLM’s are promoted\/marketed integrated into software owned and distributed by Facist adjacent corporations & used by Fascist politicians. They are one of the tools used to further consolidate money and power into fewer and fewer hands.<\/p>\n I don’t believe in AI\/LLM’s vendors claims of autonomy or intelligence or signs of consciousness.<\/p>\n This technology is undeniably ethically comprising in many ways:<\/p>\n to name a few, but these ethical issues are more fairly framed in terms of the Corporations and Politicians who use it and other tech we all embrace.<\/p>\n\n
