Manifest Accessibility

manifest accessibility stencilled on a shirt with a red clenched fist below.

manifest – to show something clearly, through signs or actions.

I recently opened an online store HTMLZ (HTML Zed) selling mainly t-shirts. People have been asking my motivations, so here they are:

  • (mostly) Get the accessibility, usability and web standards message out there.
  • Create some designs on shirts I have wanted myself, celebrate my friendships, and to make shirts for friends and family.
  • Have fun
  • And it gives me something to do during the darkness of the darkness

Making money has not been a motivation. Although making a few bucks is helpful to support the ongoing costs of HTML5accessibility.com which I have funded since it’s inception in 2010, and not unwelcome.

Any of the designs can be used and abused by anyone under the following license:

I have zipped up a range of the image files I have used for the shirts, so have at them use them to amplify the message!. If there are others that you would like, leave a comment.
